Huston Lake Park in Denver, Colorado – One Of The Many Spectacular Places To Visit

Huston Lake Park in Denver, Colorado, is one of the many spectacular places that tourists should visit while in the Mile High City. The park is located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and was created by a man named Grant Hepton. Hepton designed the garden with both a lake and a playground so that the entire family could enjoy the various recreational activities available. This park has been designated a National Historic Landmark, and it was recently listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The park is surrounded by prominent figures in Denver’s history, including such notable people as John Denver, Vincent Roth, Denver Police Detective Harry Andrews, and newspaper publishers Winton L.Hubbell and Sam Snead. Historical artifacts include a train depot, a police wagon, and an old courthouse on the park’s north side.
