Centennial Center Park
In 2012, the city of Centennial, CO, opened Centennial Center Park. This park is located just south of Cherry Creek State Park at 13050 E. Peakview Ave. Although it is only 11 acres, it is jam-packed with things to do. There are plenty of bicycle paths, paved walking trails, and unpaved walking trails.
The park’s main plaza shows a timeline of the Cherry Creek Basin and how it changed and developed over the years. The park holds an amphitheater that anyone can reserve for events. A “Colorado Statehood Walk” has signs that tell interesting facts about Colorado.

The park also has plenty of amenities – covered shelters with electrical power, picnic tables, a playground for the kids, and barbeque grills.
