I just had to write you in regard to your windows! We have had your windows since March of 2004 and are headed into our first winter with them. We have an indoor/outdoor thermometer in our house and I can't believe the temperature difference! As you know our first snow fell beginning Halloween night. The next morning I awoke to a 38 degree difference! It was 65 inside and only 27 degrees outside! Today it was a 41 degree difference, with temperatures outside being 24! All day long I was inside the house with the thermostat set at 65 degrees. It was warmer now than when we had our old windows and the thermostat set at 70! I can hardly wait to get my bill as I am sure I will see a tremendous difference! Our 13.5 year old furnace hardly runs at all. I am sure we have extended the life on it. I love the constant temperature in the house and having no drafts...except when our kids decide to go in and out of the house! We now have a cozy home thanks to your windows and excellent installation.

Dear Kurt:
I just wanted to send you a note and update you on our windows. We are extremely happy with the design and appearance of the Amerimax windows we purchased from you. We were unsure of having grids on the front windows and not on the back windows of the house. However, we are very happy with the decision. It is so nice to be able to look out the back windows into our yard and open space and not have the grids affect the view. We have also noticed a dramatic difference in the temperature of our house. Prior to the new windows, each room had a different temperature due to the broken seals on some windows. Now, we have the same temperature throughout every room and floor.

Also, I want to commend Keith Shaw for his hard-work and professionalism when installing the windows. Keith arrived on-time everyday and worked diligently to get the windows down within 3 days. We left Keith in our home alone (which I have never done with a contractor before) and I checked-in a few times throughout the day to see how the windows were coming along. Each time I arrived, he was working on the windows and was making progress. He also cleaned up after every window installation and after everyday, I never had to go back over his work and "pick up".

Sorry it has taken so long to get this email to you, but we have just been enjoying our windows so much! The fact that it only took two days to but in all 9 windows was great. The installer I can't say enough about...he was extremely professional and showed me all the things wrong with my old windows. I couldn't ask for better workmanship. He was also great when it came to me asking questions about the windows and what he was doing. As for the "new home" it seems we have with the windows...we just love them. Michelle and I had talked about getting an air conditioner this summer, but I don't think we will need it. We open the windows at night and close them during the day and the house really stays cool. It was about 100 degress out one day and the inside out a little warm, but by no means was it hot in the house. As we talked, the dog now has to go outside to enjoy sunning herself, because the windows just don't let the heat through. We also appreciate how quickly you guys responded to the minor problem we did have. Once again thanks for giving our house not only a new look, but also a lower energy bill.

This is just a quick note to say thanks for dong such an excellent job on our house. From the moment that we spoke to Steve over the phone, until the last window and blinds were installed, we have had nothing but a positive experience. Steve was extremely friendly, and professional over the phone. He was not pushy, nor was he rude. When we made our appointment, John came to our house on time and prepared. He gave us the information we needed, but did not overwhelm us with too much. He was professional, and we could tell that he truly believed in his product. He did not try to win us over with "smoke and mirrors," rather he was honest and up front. After comparing them with two other companies, we chose Colorado Windows. The price was hands down unbeatable for the quality of the product. We were called within ten days to set up a time that worked for us for our new windows. Even though this was over the holidays, we had custom made windows in a very short time.

When Tony came to install our windows, he too was extremely professional. He came in and installed all the windows and blinds, including a sliding glass door in one and a half days. He was in and out, and he made sure that there was no glass or any debris left before he departed. John was there both days to check in and make sure that we were satisfied customers and that the job was going smoothly.

We noticed a difference the very first night. Aesthetically, the windows look beautiful, and they really made our house "pop". More importantly, though, we noticed that our furnace, which usually clicked on every seven minutes or so, only clicked on a few times throughout the night. We used to have noticeable drafts throughout the house, and had to keep the ugly, heavy drapes closed to help keep some heat in. Now, our house has been given a face-lift with beautiful blinds which I have open throughout the day. The drafts are gone, and we can keep our house at a lower temperature and keep our two and a half month old child warm throughout the house. Our dog is probably the only one in the family that is not very happy, because I can't hear her bark, asking to come in. There is a noticeable difference in the outside noise that no longer comes into the house.

As you can see, we are extremely pleased with our experience with Colorado Windows. Thank you for doing such an incredible job! We couldn't be happier.

It's been five months since I had the privilege of doing business with you and your company, and I thought I would take a moment to commend you for the excellent product and outstanding workmanship provided for my home in Highlands Ranch.

As you may recall, we were in the middle of extensive remodeling of our home, and new windows were a high priority. Our old wood windows were terribly inefficient at insulating against the elements and keeping dust, noise, and moisture from entering the house. Choosing the best replacement windows, and the company to install them, was not an easy task. I wanted not only the best product, but superior workmanship, and confidence in the warranty of BOTH the manufacturer and the company chosen to install them.

In an effort to educate myself on the many aspects of the numerous manufacturers and products available on the market, I did extensive research into the qualities and advantages associated with the different types of materials used in the construction of all forms of replacement windows. To say the least, it was informative, if not overwhelming for a homeowner to process and understand. But, armed with as much information as I could, it was time to entertain representatives of the many window companies here in the Denver area, with the hope of obtaining the best product and service at a fair price. In other words, a great value.

I listened to many salespersons at my home over a two week period, and received bids for my homes needs. Some of the most well known companies, including Champion, Gravina's, Anderson, K & H, American, World of Windows, Windows America, Cardinal, Artistic, and Pella, were afforded the opportunity to win my business. But, based on a word-of-mouth reference from a co-worker I contacted your company and decided to get a final presentation of your product before making a decision. As it turned out, it was well worth my extra time!

Your time spent with me explaining the various types of windows available through Colorado Window Source was refreshing. No high pressure sales pitch, no gimmicks, and most importantly, a solid commitment to meet my needs and expectations. Your professionalism and honesty are so rare in today's sales environment, it was a privilege working with you. Many of my experiences with the other companies salespeople were unpleasant, and two instances very negative. They did not listen to my needs, played games with their numbers, and were often vague and uninformed with regard to both their own products and services, as well as the window industry as a whole. You, on the other hand, were very well educated on just about every aspect of the construction, materials, and performance of all the windows on the market, including your competitors!

Not wishing to make a hasty decision, I requested some time to look into a particular brand of window we discussed, the Prism line by Simonton. You actually encouraged me to "do your homework", and contact you at MY convenience. Based on my own research, a lot of it easily obtained on the Internet, my decision was easy. Of all the windows I looked at, and bids for same, yours was by far the best value. Everything you stated was accurate, completely truthful, and exactly fit my needs!

After awarding Colorado Window Source the contract to replace my homes windows, we set a date for installation, and agreed on a completion time frame. Again, this was a very positive experience! Not only was the work done exceptionally well, but completed when promised! Your employees were polite, friendly, and showed great concern in doing a neat job. It's nice to see workmen pay close attention to detail in their craft, and treat a customer's home with kind respect. I could not have had a more positive experience! Please pass my appreciation on to them, they deserve it!

As you have probably already assumed, I am very pleased with having done business with you and your company. I receive compliments from my neighbors, friends, and family on the beauty of the windows, and how they have greatly enhanced the appearance of our home. I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know how much I appreciate working with a company that puts Customer Service first. I was impressed with the way the installers, Tony & Rick, put in our windows in the rain and came back on Sunday to finish the job. Everyone at Colorado Window Source has been very responsive and willing to make sure we were satisfied.

As for the windows and doors we purchased, the product speaks for itself. We have 2 large openings facing south and are very impressed with the E-glass’ ability to prevent the heat from penetrating. I am anxious to see how well they perform this winter. Everyone who has seen our new windows are impressed. The bow window really opened up the dining room and I especially love my French door!

We had a wonderful experience working with Colorado Window Source. John spent a lot of time with us educating us on the difference quality windows make both aesthetically and economically. Unfortunately, we were not able to afford replacing all the windows at this time. It has been 3 weeks since our window installation and we are extremely happy with the result. Not only does the house look better, but it is much cooler inside and we haven’t had to use the A/C once, not even during the 100 degree heat earlier this month.

Equally impressive was the installation process. Tony made all the difference! He was a complete professional. He worked quickly and maintained respect for our property throughout the entire install. I even caught him using a shop vac while sanding down the brick bordering our living room and dining room windows, minimizing (and virtually eliminating) the dust accumulation inside our home. He left almost no trace, except of course the windows he installed.
